The prison is well guarded - just as any other might be. You're here to serve your time: just a few months. All you're guilty or framed for are little crime(s) [i.e. shoplifting] so your sentence isn't long. In fact, you would be let out in a little under a year if it wasn't for that little nagging voice in the back of your head.
You've never been good at doing what you've been told - or, at least, not for long - because of that little voice. Yes, you can ignore it, but even you have realized by now that there is a savage pleasure in not doing as you've been told. And right now that little voice is whispering of escape, of freedom coming months early. But you have plenty of patience for now to stay put and see your sentence out to its end. Besides, you only have a few months. What are a few months when compared to the years you'd spend for an attempted and failed escape?
But soon the little voice becomes louder, day by day. For how long can you resist it? Will you cave in to its commands, or will you stay strong and be patient? Tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock...
